On June 3, according to Interfax, Russia and Ukraine exchanged memoranda on the terms of a peace settlement. The Russian memorandum shows that Russia regards the full withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Russian territory (including Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions) as one of the options for achieving a ceasefire. At the same time, Russia proposed to recognize Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions as part of Russia, and demanded that Ukrainian troops withdraw completely from these territories.
