In July 2020, Polkadot’s third round of crowdfunding sold 302,000 DOTs and raised 3,949.57 bitcoins, with a total market value of $5.93 billion, making it the king of cross-chains. The main purpose of Polkadot is to connect the now independent blockchains to trade information and transactions. Through Polkadot, a completely decentralized Internet will be realized, where users have full control.
