Synopsis
Apple Inc., formerly known as Apple Computer, Inc., is a multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California. Five tech giants. Current businesses include the design, development, mobile communications and sales of consumer electronics, computer software, online services and personal computers. In April 1976, Steve Paul Jobs, Stephen Gary Wozniak and Ronald Gerald Wayne founded Apple to develop and sell Wozniak's Apple I personal computer, but Wayne gave up his stake after 12 days. In January 1977, the company name was officially established as Apple Computer, Inc., and sales of computers grew rapidly, including the Apple II. In fiscal year 2018, Apple's total worldwide revenue totaled $265 billion. Apple is the world's largest technology company by revenue and one of the world's most valuable companies.
