As of 17:00 (GMT+8), spot gold fell 0.183% to $1848.69/oz, and spot silver fell 0.797% to $22.028/oz.

Comment: International gold prices edged lower as the rising dollar and U.S. bond yield limited demand for gold. Investors await the upcoming U.S. inflation data for further insights into the prospect of a rate hike by the Federal Reserve. But the risk of stagflation should encourage many investors to allocate to gold.

Suggestion: short spot gold is at 1848.60, and the target point is 1828.30.

In the big trend, as long as the exchange rate does not fall below 0.71 recently, the Australian dollar will continue to climb higher;
