  • NHK, Jiji Press, and Nikkei all broke the news late at night that the Bank of Japan is considering raising interest rates by 15 basis points to 0.25% at the meeting that ends on Wednesday, which exceeds market expectations. The market still prices the probability of the Bank of Japan raising interest rates by 10 basis points at only 55%. The yield on Japan's 10-year government bonds fell below 1% for the first time in nearly a month. The yen rate hike is bullish for the yen.
  • Nick Timiraos of the Federal Reserve pointed out that it is unlikely that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in July, suggesting that a rate cut in September is more likely. Goldman Sachs CEO Solomon also said that he does not think the Federal Reserve will make a decision to cut interest rates at this meeting. It is bullish for the US dollar in the short term and bearish for the US dollar in the medium term.
  • The euro zone's second-quarter GDP annual rate was 0.6%, slightly exceeding market expectations and the highest since the second quarter of 2023. Bullish for the euro.

📝 Review:From the long-term market trend, Bitcoin is currently priced below 66,700 points and is in a seller's market. Although the price has been pulled back quickly in the last 4 hours, the extent of the decline does not seem to have reached expectations. The next two 4-hour candlestick charts tonight are very critical. If they show a strong bottom reversal signal, the price of Bitcoin may quickly climb above the 70,000 mark.
