Ethereum Exceeds $10 Billion in Revenue, Surpassing Meta and Microsoft
Since its launch in 2015, Ethereum has generated over $10 billion in revenue, surpassing tech titans Meta and Microsoft. According to a report by crypto brokerage Caleb & Brown, it took Ethereum approximately six years to attain this milestone, while Meta and Microsoft required 7.5 and 19 years, respectively.

According to Coincu, Ethereum has surpassed $10 billion in revenue since its inception in 2015, surpassing tech giants Microsoft and Meta. According to a report by crypto brokerage firm Caleb & Brown, Ethereum reached this milestone in roughly six years, compared to Meta's 7.5 years and Microsoft's 19 years.
Transaction fees and activities conducted on the Ethereum network, such as decentralised finance transactions, NFT trading, and cryptocurrency transfers, are among the sources of revenue. Since 2015, Ethereum has generated $16.8 billion in transaction fees, of which over 60% have been converted to revenue, putting it in the same league as Alphabet and Meta.
Despite this achievement, Ethereum's revenue has decreased by over 77% compared to the previous year, reflecting the broader decline in the crypto market. Token Terminal's current data indicates that Ethereum's revenue for this year is approximately $1.7 billion. Nevertheless, according to some sources, Ethereum's network revenue could skyrocket from its current $2.6 billion to an astounding $51 billion annually by 2030 if adoption persists.
