Ethena Labs and Uniswap Foundation Appoint Growth Managers, and the Co-Founder of NEAR is Appointed Foundation CEO
New appointments and leadership transitions have been declared by the Uniswap Foundation, Ethena Labs, and the NEAR Foundation in an effort to accelerate their development and growth in the cryptocurrency industry.

Bita Abolfathi has reportedly been appointed growth manager by the Uniswap Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to expanding the Uniswap protocol, as reported by Blockworks. This action follows the Uniswap DAO's provision of a $46 million grant to the Uniswap Foundation. Abolfathi, a former employee of Gauntlet and SCRIB3, is appointed as the second growth-oriented staff member at the Uniswap Foundation, reporting to Raphaela Sapire.
Additionally, Ethena Labs, a stablecoin initiative, has appointed Seraphim Czecker, a former Lido business developer, as its chief of growth. Ethena, which generates yield on its USDe stablecoin using Lido stETH collateral and short ether futures, was led by Dragonfly in June when it raised $6.5 million in seed funding. Czecker, who is confident in the project's scalability, will labour part-timethrough 2024.
In addition, Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of the NEAR Protocol, has been appointed chief executive officer of the NEAR Foundation, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to expand the NEAR ecosystem. Pierre-Marieke Flament, who resigned as CEO after two years, is succeeded by Polosukhin. Chris Donovan, who was originally designated as Flament's successor, will now serve as the chief operating officer of the foundation.
