On Sunday, Ethereum (ETH) increased by 0.06%. ETH lost 4.83% on Saturday before falling 7.25% to $1,753 for the week. For the second time since May 13, Ethereum (ETH) finished the day below $1,800.

ETH dropped to a low of $1,739 in the early afternoon after a range-bound morning. ETH increased to a late-session high of $1,779 while avoiding the First Major Support Level (S1) at $1,697. However, ETH slipped back to conclude the day at $1,753 after failing to pass the First Major Resistance Level (R1) at $1,826.

US legislators limit the harm

There were no US economic data points or Fed buzz to ponder during the dull Sunday session.

The staking statistics kept giving guidance despite the dearth of economic information and Fed chirp, leaving ETH in the hands of the cryptocurrency news wires.

On Saturday night, Senator Cynthia Lummis discussed the ongoing efforts to provide a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies. The development of legislation to provide a legal framework that supports innovation while safeguarding investors would be beneficial for the cryptocurrency sector.

However, despite an increase in staking inflows, stake statistics were a drag.

Statistics on Staking Indicate Investor Attitude Toward the SEC

Staking inflows climbed from 19,584 ETH on Saturday to 41,888 ETH on Sunday, according to CryptoQuant. Inflows remained below average notwithstanding the recovery.

With main withdrawals above average levels, the overnight withdrawal profile was bearish. However, predictions for withdrawals during the morning session were optimistic; primary ETH withdrawals were expected to decline before rising.

The net ETH staking balance fell by 170.96% on Sunday, reaching a loss of 26,660 ETH, or $46.98 million. 52,660 ETH were taken out in withdrawals compared to 26,000 ETH in deposits. A net stake deficit's decline was unfavorable.

TokenUnlocks reports that the entire amount of pending withdrawals was 64,040 ETH, or roughly $111.74 million. It's noteworthy that the staking APR was 6.56%, down 1.50% from the previous day.
