Exchanging cryptocurrencies According to a Wednesday report by Bloomberg News, Coinbase Global Inc. has redoubled its efforts to expand into Europe and is now registering in countries like as Italy, Spain, France, and the Netherlands.

According to Nana Murugesan, vice president of business development and international at Coinbase, "in all these areas, our objective is to offer retail and institutional solutions."

According to Murugesan, the business has already obtained registration in the UK, Ireland, and Germany and just employed its first employee there.

An inquiry for comment from Reuters did not get a prompt response from Coinbase.

The action was taken a few weeks after the firm cut more than 1,000 employment in the United States due to a decline in the cryptocurrency industry.

Digital asset prices have fallen lately as investors sell riskier investments due to increasing interest rates and soaring inflation. This year, Coinbase shares have fallen more than 80% as a result of the selloff.
