The Arbitrum Foundation has reportedly proclaimed intentions to allocate 200 million ARB tokens (equivalent to around $400 million) over the course of the following two years to support gaming initiatives on its blockchain. The intention of the foundation is to obtain authorization from its DAO for the scheme, which will entail awarding grants to developers and publishers, with the primary purpose of allocating the funds toward expediting the progress of its gaming ecosystem.

The majority of the funds (160 million ARB) should be allocated to encourage publishers and developers to produce new titles for the Arbitrum platform, according to the new proposal. In addition, forty million ARB will be allocated to infrastructure initiatives, including the development of gaming-supporting tools for the Arbitrum ecosystem.
