The 35 Recipients Selected by the Ethereum Foundation for the Run a Node Grants Round Programme
Through its 'Run a Node Grants Round' initiative, the Ethereum Foundation has chosen 35 node operators from 23 countries, including universities, research laboratories, and community organisations, to support blockchain innovation and diversity.

As per Coincu, out of 243 applications, the Ethereum Foundation has selected 35 recipients from 23 countries to operate nodes as part of its 'Run a Node Grants Round' programme. Prominent organisations and academic institutions, including ETHKL, SDSU Distributed System Security Laboratory, and Franklin DAO/Penn Blockchain, in addition to the University of Champagnat in Argentina, are among the recipients of this esteemed award.
The objective of the programme is to provide assistance to a range of endeavours, such as research pursuits, community initiatives, and educational investigations, with the intention of promoting diversity and innovation in the field of blockchain. The Technical University of Munich Blockchain Club and Ethereum Guatemala are among the 35 recipients selected to represent the Foundation's dedication to fostering inclusive environments.
Applicants must demonstrate a technical proficiency in nodes and clients, a fast and consistent internet connection, and a commitment to operating a node for a minimum of two years in order to qualify for the programme. During the evaluation process, the Foundation issued priority to distinctive proposals originating from academic institutions, student blockchain organisations, and geographically diverse regions. With its Run a Node Grants Round, the Ethereum Foundation furthers the overarching objective of fostering community engagement, research, and blockchain exploration on an international level.
